Our first Olympians

WALT: Locate and summaries important information from a range of related texts.

 Hey bloggers welcome back to my blog post! this week for for reading we have been doing our create task, that is the Olympian and the Olympian that i chose was Sarah ULmer, she was a best biker, and that is why chosen her! The first create task is that we have to Chose either a NZ or your favorite Olympian, and we have to complete the Olympic champion fact file with information from the twinkle text or online. W also have to Use all the information on here to create a poster on a google drawing, then write 2-3 sentences about why you have chosen your Olympian. The second create task is that we have to choose a country that is participating at the Olympic games. We have to find 20 facts about that country and what events they have entered into for the Olympic games this year. And also you will need independently find information about the country of your choice. And choose a DLO to present the information on your chosen country. And now the third create task is that we had to choose one of the images from the article above. And which country was it from. Also we have to plan and write a persuasive argument to that country on what they should do with their leftover Olympic Arena/Olympic Village. Bye i hope you enjoy it!!

    Thanks for sharing the info Sarah Ulmer & the 20 Olympic facts on Australia,
    Do you know what year Sarah won the gold medal for cycling? And, has she had any other successes since then? I hope you've been doing ok during lockdown, what have you been up to? I've been out walking a bit around our neighborhood. Hopefully we'll be back at school soon :)
